This basic bread recipe is a no knead bread recipe.
Of all bread dough recipes, this one is my favorite because it is so fast, simple and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Dissolve the yeast in ½ cup lukewarm water in which you have added 1 teaspoon
sugar and 1 tbsp flour and allow it to stand for 10 minutes at room
temperature.
Place the remaining flour and the salt in a large bowl. Then add the yeast mixture.
Mix the ingredients with a ladle, adding as much warm water as is necessary to make a soft, sticky dough (approx. 3-4 cups).
Mix the dough with a ladle and beat it raising it high up so the air gets into the dough.
Put the dough on baking paper in a baking pan and cover with a cloth.
Leave to rest for 30-45 minutes, and then put it into a preheated oven and bake at 180° C/350° F for about 45 minutes.
In this kind of bread you can also add a variety of seeds (pumpkin, sunflower or sesame seeds) according to your taste.
Add sliced olives in the dough and violà!
You should be careful to add only ½ tbsp salt in the dough. Otherwise your bread might be too salty.
Here you have another olive bread recipe that you may try.
Enjoy!
