When I was in my awkward teen years (not to be redundant) I built up the courage to ask out a girl that I liked after several months.

So I was at the bowling alley with my family.
At that time I had 100 kilos (200 pounds), waddling down the alley getting ready for that strike.
I raised my arm in perfect position smiling back at my family to prove fat people can play sports. Next thing I know were my butts on the ground and I'm rolling around like a bowling ball with everyone watching..
Why those places have to be so slippery?

It happened two months ago. I was a sunny day, and I went out with my friends for a walk. We always take long walks in the park on Sunday morning.
I can not walk more than 2 kilometers without getting really tired. So, my friends and I stopped for a while, and bought some hot-dogs to eat. But, then it happened.
The girl I liked was taking her dog for a walk in the park. I decided to go to talk to her. We were in the same class, but we haven't seen each other for 3 weeks, since it was summer.
When she saw me, she smiled. I thought that was a good thing. But when I got close to her, she said: "Eating hot-dog? Don't you have a mirror? You really need to lose weight. The hot-dog will not help. Have you seen a doctor yet? You might have some problems with your health."
I was shocked. I was really angry at her, because she was telling the truth. I was overweight, but I was doing nothing to lose weight. I was just making the situation worse. I was really embarrassed, so I apologized to her and my friends and went home.
That moment was the most embarrassing moment in my life. However, it opened my eyes, and I am really grateful that it happened. Now I can proudly say that I am losing weight - I am doing something good for myself.
